Citizens for Culture: Obstacles and Opportunities

What’s it about?

Citizens for Culture will be at this year’s Forwards Festival, featuring in a panel talk on The Information Stage, hosted by Jemma Forte. This session will feature our very own LaToyah Mcallister-Jones (Lead Facilitator – Citizens for Culture) alongside industry leaders such as Dr. Thom Oliver (Senior Lecturer in Politics – UWE Bristol), Ruby Sant (Artist, Designer, Maker), and Saad Eddine-Said (CEO, Artistic Director – New Art Exchange).

The Information Stage is an area for discussion, debate and understanding on today’s current affairs and cultural issues, plus challenging the role of music festivals. A lineup of inspirational experts, artists, writers and thinkers from across the social and political spectrum will join at Forwards this August.
